Home Fashions International is owned by a family which is in the 4th generation textile business. The company belongs to the 'House of V Parasuram', which has diversified interest in textile business in India. Currently the business is managed by Mr. T.P. Rajaram who has more than 25 years experience in Home Textiles.
It all started with Late Mr. N. S. Vaidhyanatha Iyer who worked as a textile agent for Sitaram spinning and weaving Mills which was one of India's oldest vertically integrated mills. He ran an established textile wholesale shop as well, known as Swadeshi Piece Good's Depot. His son, Late Mr. V Parasuram continued the textile trading business and was the agent for the Davangere cotton mills ltd.
His son's Mr. TP Rajaram and Mr. TP Hariharan followed his footsteps into working as textile agents for several of India's top textile mills. Several years of experience in the textile market inspired Mr. Rajaram to foray into different opportunities in the textiles field. The Angel brand of lungies was born at this time and it is a household name in kerala.
Our expertise in textiles and knowledge of various markets gave us the confidence to venture into manufacture and export of home textiles and made-ups in the year 1995. We primarily catered to buyers in the United States in our early days. Soon we had buyers from the UK, Europe and Australia and the Middle East. From exporting a broad range of textiles we consciously moved to a more niche market of premium home textiles. Our area of expertise lies in high-end and sustainable kitchen linen, table linen, bedlinen and bathlinen and also cushions and throws
Our 90,000 square feet open land houses a 60,000 square feet factory building, employing a highly skilled workforce of 300 individuals. We take pride in the fact that close to 75% of our employees are women.
Our Head office is in Thrissur, Kerala and our Factory is in Karur, Tamil Nadu.
